Due to a crisis of funding, Keep Talking in North Yorkshire has stopped taking new referrals. We will continue to work with current clients until their work is completed.

Sadly, we lost the contract with the Legal Services Commission which we had been offered. This was because of our involvement with the liquidated charity we were replacing. We will have to close the Service in the New Year - barring a miracle (such as a large donation from a wealthy supporter!).

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that have supported us with funds, support and encouragement.

We have had such a lot of support from so many that we could not possibly name them all. However, we would like to give special thanks to National Family Mediation, Harrogate Borough Council, The Tudor trust, The Sykes trust, Lloyds TSB trust, Ann Jarvis, Taylor Fawcett, Rodney Noon, Raworth’s, Berwin’s (all firms of solicitors) and all those who have used our services.

As from the start of the new Legal Aid contracts (expected mid-November), our sister services in Middlesboro and York will provide not-for-profit services in Northallerton & Catterick and Harrogate respectively. Eric Clarkson will work for both these Services.
